1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes,
undrained
1 (15 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 (1.25 ounce) packet chili seasoning mix

½ (4 ounce) can diced jalapenos, optional
In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook and crumble

There's the beef! |
Stir in undrained tomatoes, crushed tomatoes and chili
mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Add chili beans and jalapenos; simmer 10 minutes,
stirring occasionally.
Pretty pretty! |
My Rating: 4/5 "I have to say I wasn't as hype about this as I expected it to be. This is pretty standard chili: beef and beans and the usual spices. It's not bad, though, and the spices are pretty nice. It was better as leftovers, and better still with some cheese melted on the top."
