½ package (8 oz.) medium shells, uncooked
1 ¼ cups mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies,
drained
¼ cup green onions, chopped
1 tsp chili powder
½ cup carrot, shredded
½ cup celery, chopped
Lettuce leaves
½ lb. cooked turkey breast, sliced, cut
into strips
½ lb. cooked ham, sliced, cut into strips
½ lb. Monterey Jack or Swiss cheese, cut in
strips
Tortilla chips

Cook pasta according to package directions. In large bowl, combine pasta, mayonnaise, chilies, onions, chili powder, carrots and celery; mix well.
This would probably be a good pasta salad by itself even if you didn't add all the fixins. |
Spoon into a lettuce-lined serving bowl; top with turkey, ham
and cheese. Cover; chill thoroughly. Serve with chips.
Why chips? I'm not sure, but they did taste good with it. |
