Deliciously Easy Brie en Croute

1 Brie wheel

1 sheet of frozen puff pastry

¼ cup strawberry jam

1 egg yolk mixed with 1 tsp water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spread the strawberry jam over the pastry sheet.

Place the Brie in the center of the dough.

Fold the pastry over the Brie and press to seal.

Flip the cheese over and place on greased baking sheet.

Excess dough may be used to decorate the top.

Brush the entire pastry with egg wash.

Bake 20 minutes or until golden.

Allow the pastry to cool for 30 minutes.

Serve with crackers and… enjoy!

This is the story of how I at half a wheel of Brie in one sitting and had no regrets.

My Rating: 4/5 "Simple and tasty. I didn't even think you necessarily needed the crackers. You could just it into pieces and enjoy the comforting mouthfeel of the whole kaboodle. Then again, it's hard for me to say no to a chance to eat cheese and crackers."
