Candy Corn by the Slice

Favorite Brand Name Fun Stuff, p. 248

1 package (about 14 ounces) refrigerated pizza crust dough

½ cup (2 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese

2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese

½ cup pizza sauce

Preheat oven to 400F. Spray 13-inch round pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray. Press dough into pan.

Sprinkle mozzarella in 4-inch circle in center of pizza dough. Sprinkle 1 cup Cheddar cheese in 3-inch ring around center circle. Spoon pizza sauce over Cheddar cheese.

Create 1 ½-inch border around edge of pizza with remaining 1 cup Cheddar cheese.

Bake 12 minutes or until edge is lightly browned and cheese is melted. 

Look, I think we can all agree that it's hard to turn a rectangle into a circle. You do your pizza crust however you see fit. I'm content with this weird folded thing.

Cut into wedges.

My Rating: 4/5 "This was fun to look at. As someone who's not a huge fan of red sauce I also appreciated that it was concentrated in only one segment of the slice. This is cute and quick and my whole family enjoyed eating it."
