Honestly the most remarkable thing about this picture is that it includes multiple cars that aren't black, gray, or white in the year 2026
This brewery is located on the south side of Middlebury. It was convenient for us because we were seeing a show in Shipshewana but staying in Elkhart, so it was a logical halfway point for us to stop and eat. The strip mall that Wedgewood is in is pretty uniform, but it's a classy design over all and the brewery personalized their awning well. It's welcoming with just enough grit to be interesting.

There's a bigger seating area around there to the left
There's a lot of places to sit here, and when we arrived at about 5:30 on Saturday they were almost all full. (It seemed like a lot of people were going to the same concert we were.) It's a nice but space, but the color scheme and classic rock decor make it feel cozy despite the big room and high ceilings. The crowd was a lot of older folks, which we didn't expect, but everyone seemed to be having a ton of fun.

Steak Garlic Melt
Per the fact that this is a small brewery, the menu isn't extensive. They have sandwiches (mostly smashburgers) and a couple of salads and some appies. During our visit they had seven beers available on tap, seven signature cocktails, and a little bit of wine. There were also soft drinks, of course, for folks who didn't feel like boozing. Their staff seemed small, so I'd imagine they're making about all the different dishes they can handle. The stuff they do have is creative, though. They had some really cool moonshine cocktails (see below) and their sandwiches were so neat that I had a hard time choosing even with the limited options. Fortunately they do digital ordering at the table so you're free to take as long as you like to make your food commitments.

Ok but like everything was GOOD. We didn't try a single thing that didn't make us say "Holy Toledo yes more please." I adored my Peanut Butter Jelly Time Moonshine cocktail, and my melt was deliciously garlicky. My husband's tastes run simpler, but he was very happy with his brisket melt. He also tried their award-winning hazy IPA and thought it was great. They're putting out some great product here.
Kid-Friendly: 1/5
People under 21 are not allowed the enter the establishment. It's a nice place for a kid-free night out.
Would Eat Again?: Green Light
We loved our food and we loved our drinks. Service was a little slow but that's probably because it was crowded. The everything tasted so good that I didn't hear anybody complaining about waiting. The folks working were really good-natured. One highlight is definitely the merch - breweries always have their t-shirts, but this one in particular has some really cool designs for their stuff. We're planning to go back to see more shows at the Blue Gate in Shipshewana, so it's highly likely we'll go back to Wedgewood as well.
